Creme Conference Feedback from Attendees
Written by Robert Coyle
Over 77% of respondents indicated that they had been “very satisfied” with the event. There were a number of areas delegates found valuable including the content, the calibre of speakers, the contemporary topics and the opportunity to network. The Creme workshops on the second day were also highlighted as another valuable addition allowing some hands-on learning.
Here’s what some of the participants had to say:
“The conference was very useful and well delivered. The Creme team were open, friendly and knowledgeable.” Aaron O'Sullivan, Nutricia
“I found the recent Creme conference very interesting. The calibre of speakers and their presentations were excellent and I learned a great deal. It was a real treat to have so many experts in one room, sharing their ideas and experiences. Exposure assessment is a rapidly growing discipline and its diverse nature was reflected in the fact that the speakers and attendees were from many different backgrounds, making for a very engaging conference.” Emma Conroy, UCD
“Great forum to get an overview of the latest developments and challenges in exposure assessments and for networking with a wide range of international delegates linked to the field of exposure assessments.” Anonymous
We asked for suggestions for topics to be covered at future Creme conferences. The respondents included the following suggestions:
- General update on exposure assessment methodology including practical examples
- Availability of food and nutrition databases across Europe
- A speaker on food consumption data to explain their use and difficulties
- Risk assessment on packaging materials
- Simulation of bacterial growth
- How to deal with missing data or data gaps
We would like to thank all of our attendees for their feedback, we are looking forward to incorporating these topics into the programme for our next event.
